The idea of a google browser would indeed be a great treat for all the webmasters if not for the common man. Though to overtake microsoft IE would be a tough task for google. Google browser can be used as a page analyzing tool by webmasters but I believe it will fail to click the common man’s interest. Of course this is just my assumption. As a webmaster I am really looking forward to the google browser

It is an interesting thought as to whether the mass market would use a google browser. I personally would be interested as a person who uses the internet for business and personal information fairly often. But would the mass market care about a new browser or even be aware of the shortcomings of the IE browser set?
