		<description>I dislike it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I dont want something indexing all my documents, something about it just irks me. I wonder what Google&#039;s motive is. I was tolerant to their Gmail ads, but now a desktop search.... hm, no, too far.</description>

		<description>The motive is that Google is responding to a market need.  Computer hard drives are getting bigger and more and more data is being stored on them.  Google&#039;s search technology can sort through millions an millions of web pages, it can sort through a few hundred thousand files on a local machine just as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Privacy may or may not be an issue. But like anything, if you don&#039;t like it, don&#039;t use it.</description>
