DMNews.com reports Google profits increased sevenfold in the fourth quarter of 2004. AdSense generated $490 million, or 48 percent of total revenue, up 92 percent over last year.
“Google had an exceptional quarter,” CEO Eric Schmidt said. “Revenue and profits increased significantly, our execution was solid across the company and most importantly, our relationship with our users, partners and advertisers became even stronger.”
