Jerry Yang and David Filo, co-founders of Yahoo Inc. are celebrating Yahoo’s 10th anniversary. Ten years ago they turned a college hobby into a full-time job. To celebrate they are allowing registered users in the US to download, on March 2nd, a coupon for a free scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream.
It’s interesting to note that Yahoo Inc. is much more frugal than Google. “They have always been more interested in pouring money into developing new products than spending frivolously on decorations and office supplies,” said Erin Moore, a Yahoo product manager.
