Wordtracker vs Keyword Discovery

Comments | Posted by Lee Odden on Mar 10th, 2006 in Keyword Research, Online Marketing, SEO

There’s an interesting thread over at HighRankings Forums on Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery debating the accuracy, pros and cons of each. I’ve been a Wordtracker user for at least 6 years and have been dabbling with Keyword Discovery off and on for 2 or 3 years. Both have their pluses and shortcomings.

Of course, when I need to outsource keyword analysis, I just go to Dan Thies over at SEO Research Labs, who by the way, should be the topic of the next Spotlight on Search interview.

Update: Aaron at his newly designed SEOBook site posts a link to a free link building video from one of Dan’s teleclasses.

I am curious if readers of this blog can help me out and provide any insight into your use of Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery for keyword research and analysis? Likes, Dislikes? If I were to switch to just one service, which would you recommend?

    Thank you Lee.

I am not using WordPress , BUT can't find a place to add this code to. They make it very difficult. I can't really customize the look of the blog the way you did it.
  • Hi Jason, we have a cool tool for that at:
