The well-known marketing testing site, Marketing Experiments is offering their next paid search management certification course. If you haven’t heard of the site, they’ve been around for ages thoroughly testing various aspects of web marketing. As a result, they have some pretty impressive best practices developed.
Outside of Google’s Advertising Professional, what other PPC or Paid Search certification programs have you used? I am curious what others’ experience has been.

Hmmm… I worked at Google for the AdWords program for 7 month. Does that certify me?

As well as being a Google AdWords Qualified Professional, as most are these days, I have a certification from Yahoo. The glorified affiliate program they call Yahoo Search Marketing Ambassador. While there is a test involved, the higher levels are more desirable.
I would like to see something offered for the new MSN adCenter!
But does a certification bring you any value? Or is it just a badge to wear?
The Google certification has brought value with clients as well as employment. The Yahoo one, not so much!
