We hired Amanda and LOST rankings. Be careful - she takes your money and doesn't do much at all! We're in worse shape now and no more funds to hire a company that will actually improve our rankings. Con artist.

Thanks a lot for following up Amanda. I am definitely going to check out Podzinger... that's an exciting development. I hear Google is working on similar technology. As for tagging... to the extent that i'm familiar with the subject, I agree with you.

Scott: In answer to the question you pose on tagging rich media content like videos as the rich content of the future, I am very enthusiastic about the advances in video search such as the recent announcement by Podzinger that they can search inside video. If you haven't already, give it a look. That being said, I view tagging as an intermediary step in making video content visible to search. Tagging is inherently imperfect for capturing the essence and context of a medium as complex as video, but it is what we have to work with for now.

I thought the perspective shared in this article was useful, thanks Amanda.

In your estimation, what is the future of tagging rich media content like videos from an SEO perspective? Is this the "Alt" tag of the future?
