Dirt Rag
Harpers
Wired
Snowboard Journal
Frequency

I don't like doing anything "serious" with magazines ... :-) The one exception I sometimes make is the Economist but I don't have a subscription. Oh and NY Times online.

[...] The other thing is magazine preferences reveal a lot of a person’s personality. Kris and Lee Odden have a fairly strategic/macro type approach (having leading their own respective business organizations), but more so from their choices of the Smithsonian, Forbes, Inc., while younger guys like Shoemoney and Joe Whyte go for more topical/news type publications like Playboy, Wired, Maxim, Stuff.
Lee,

That's strange. Your name is in our database. Anyway, please shoot me a quick email with your mailing address to andrey(at)smstandard.com and I'll make sure you get the next issue and the following ones as well.

And thank you for including our publication in your poll.

Andrey, I haven't received a copy of Search Marketing Standard for several months - sorry. I would be happy to get it though :).

FYI, I am doing a poll next week specific to print publications that focus on search marketing. SMS is certainly included in that list.

Hey Erica, you mention one my guilty pleasures and that's Vanity Fair. I don't subscribe though. :)

Bill you've got one that I nearly forgot and that's B2B Magazine. I also get DM News in print, but only read the online versions of both. You're certainly into boating!

Interesting concept. While, like you, I get a ton of reading materials each month, here's what I actually read in hardcopy:

Entrepreneur
Business 2.0
Revenue
B2B Magazine
Wine Spectator
Boating
Motor Boating
Offshore

this is a great topic! Interesting because we can all see (via mybloglog, public Bloglines lists, blogrolls, bumpzee, etc) what we read as far as online sources, but nobody really can see what they share re: print mag interests. Mine are:

Time
Vanity Fair
Lucky "the magazine about shopping" (fun guilty pleasure)
Smart Money

I have to say, I avoid tabloids (Us Weekly et al) like the plague, they are just awful! I feel guilty even reading the Us headlines in the checkout line. Blech!

The only magazine I read besides a couple of local Anthem, Arizona news digests is "The E Ticket" which is related to Disneyland history and the ins and outs of the park as well as man behind the magic, Walt Disney.

"Endless vacation" sounds like my kind of magazine! Thanks for sharing. Maybe we need a service for magazine sharing, we all appear to get the same stuff. We could save a lot of money by simply passing on the magazines to each other. ;-)
