Since that conference (san jose 2004!) WebMama.com has stayed small and focused. This is and was a conscious choice of mine - to be a boutique agency for large brands. I am also still running a virtual company with 1 employee (me) and a small number of very, very talented and well paid search engine marketing experts and business managers. Keeping the company at that size, and continuing the practice of being able to manage the company virtually, has allowed me a ton of flexibility in my life. Not only professionally, for example founding and running SEMPO, but also with my family. I am currently in Pecs, Hungary in the middle of a 6 week trip through Canada, Central Europe and the UK. I remember that Web Feeds, Blogs and Search session- it was one of the few that held my attention for the entire time.
