		<description>Jason, I guess that depends on the revenue model. Advertising depends on much greater traffic/subscriber numbers than lead generation for consulting. John Battelle has over 100k subscribers and we have less than 10k but I&#039;d be surprised if revenue tied to the blog was 10 times more.</description>

There&#039;s certainly a need for reliable numbers on RSS subscribers, especially for the influx of advertising going to blogs. There&#039;s no mystery in email marketing about subscribers  and in that respect, RSS should be no different.</description>
