I'm really surprised at the large turnout this year. I remember when it used to be much smaller. Most of sessions have been excellent, but I was a little disappointed when Matt Cutts crashed the link buying session. Panelists like Jim Boykin seemed to completely clam up when they found out he was there.

I chose Pubcon over SES because the real search pros are here, not the search-suits. DM me on Twitter.com/JayBerkowitz if you're in Vegas

Great Post Lee, I enjoy Pubcon for many of the same reasons posted above.

I have been attending Pubcon since 2004, I enjoy the fact that the conference pricing is very reasonable.

I attend other conferences within the year as well however I feel that I get more out of this one since there is much less SEO fluff. The panel speakers are not trying to sell me a product, they are teaching things they experience real world just as we all do. As well they are open to answering questions in networking groups found within the hallways and after hour’s events. Brett and his crew have really done a great thing with all the take backs for everyone.

See You all Tonight....
