hey!
a very interesting interview...
i would like you to go through Jeff Paul's tv shows and books on internet marketing and web businesses in this regard. His view points are very interesting and many people have earned a lot of money over the internet with his guidance. his books are relatively affordable and captivating. I'm sure you'll find them very interesting. I certainly did!

If we compare it to the price of a conference and all the travel time and costs, it's not so bad. You get more dedicated speaking time than at any conference. The key will be to keep it up to date. Perhaps a behind the scenes forum would be cool too. Might be pretty high level discourse at this price.

LOL:

"one guy was just talking to the camera" - Uh yeah, that's what you do when someone is video taping you.

"using an old Powerpoint" - Wow, how in the world could someone tell if a PPT was new, old or otherwise? Regardless, I'd take a second hand Shoemoney, Stuntdubl or Aaron Wall PPT any day!

"and a camera was shaking all over the place!" - Jim's right, the cameras were on tripods. Any shaking was intentional as in a post production effect. The thing is, I don't recall seeing that on any of the videos.

carfeu, the videos were taken in a variety of places and was in part, how Jim was able to get many of the people to participate. In my case, he met me at a W Hotel in NYC while I happened to be there for another conference.

I suspect future versions will be more standardized.

From what I've saw in the previews, the sound and video quality is terrible. The content might be good, but for 3K, the presentations are very unprofessional.

I mean, one guy was just talking to the camera, using an old Powerpoint and a camera was shaking all over the place!

Strive for credibility and inject some quality production standards, please. You'll attract more marketing directors that way.
