In my opinion the first sentence of description should be about the summary of that page and second sentence should be about like marketing of the product.

Hello again

Listing competitors in a press release never make sense. I think, a press release is an information of a company for its particular service or product. So adding a list of competitors is never a good job while releasing or publishing any service or product to the newswire.

Thanks,

I think it is very important to let your readers know or make them aware they should be hosting a news media section to their websites. You mention the seo press release loses seo value over time because the release is replaced by more up to date news in places such as Google news. However the seo press release should be posted to an online news room section of the company website. This will help the website gain a better ranking and provide compelling content to help move site visitors into the purchasing cycle.

This is such an informative post because it not only underscores the importance of SEO as a marketing tool, but it also provides detailed information about how to most effectively do it in the form of press releases. I have worked on press releases of my own but based on the feedback provided here I am sure that my next one will be far superior. Thanks again!

Hi Lee,

I think another big problem with title tags is that companies oftentimes just list keywords in them. The keywords may be relevant but trying to target everything under the sun is just not an effective strategy in my opinion. Sure you can get traffic but that is useless without conversions.

I think people misconstrue SEO as a rankings tool, when in fact it is a marketing tool. Title tags should have a call to action, marketing message, and relevant keywords. So what if you can't squeeze every keyword in there.

The title tag of a page is like the title of book chapter. The only thing you accomplish by stuffing keywords in your title tag is SEO spam, and we all know what happens with spam.

I want to add one more thing regarding frequency of keywords or phrases in a press release. I think for better ranking you must start a paragraph with a targeted keyword and then use it again in the same paragraph with some sense.

Thanks,

Bilal
