I just went through this with my own blogs, when I moved my hosting and added a few new domain names. I was able to keep everything working and not damage my Google rank, but I did run into a problem when I shut down a free Wordpress.com site. Wordpress.com has such a great Google ranking, and Google leaves up links to old Wordpress pages, so my no-longer-existent Wordpress.com pages are still showing up. Keep up the good work.
