Hey Giovanni, I found your comment in the spam folder – one of the rare times I look in there.

Outside of you including the extra links to yourself (why are you trying so hard?) this comment really stood out:

“BBC and CBC podcasts are NOT to be missed for anyone who is serious about social media beyond just using them to game the search engines or sell widgets for their clients.”

Are you actually suggesting that anyone who doesn’t listen to the BBC and CBC podcasts is resolved to using social media to game search engines? A bit elitist and maybe misdirected don’t you think?

Lee, I appreciate your including FIR on a list containing so many great shows. I’m just getting back up to speed following some minor surgery so I missed this post until now — I just heard you talking about it on the Marketing Edge podcast.

I know the voting is closed on this, but ever since reading the initial list of podcasts I just can’t stop thinking about several podcasts that you missed that should be included, if for no other reason to be introduced to your reader-base. In particular, the BBC and CBC podcasts are NOT to be missed for anyone who is serious about social media beyond just using them to game the search engines or sell widgets for their clients.

Lee, dare I confess I haven’t published an episode an episode of the New Comm Road podcast in more than a year (though officially, I haven’t shuttered it)?

Still, I think several of the archived episodes hold up well, a year or two later.

You’ve included a few shows here that I haven’t been following, and I’ll be checking them out, in turn, over the next couple of weeks.

Any chance of getting The Podcast Sisters included on the list? They have had a huge influence on my own attitude to, and use of, social media – they do a fantastic job of making the tools accessible to the less technical, and give clear, practical examples of how to use the tools to grow your business.
