I’m new to this blog , am glad to have found it —-and I’m sure it won’t be my last visit.

Yes, the reasons you give above are all good ones – but what surprises me is that Social Media is still relatively unknown among consumers. I imagine – at some stage soon – it will really take off at a growth rate even higher than that predicted by Forrester Research

Points 2, 4 and 6!!! Love them. I’m always yapping that companies need to consider 5 objectives to their social media (and marketing in general): Listening, Speaking, Caring, Sharing and Building Relationships. Points 2, 4 and 6 really hit on what companies need to be doing to Listen, as well as care about the needs and wants of their current and potential customers.
