We are now back to our regular schedule of Friday updates to TopRank’s BIGLIST of SEO blogs. Not to be confused with qwerty’s “The Kind of Smallish List of Sort of Search Marketing Blogs“.

• Lorna Li Green 2.0 - Black is back in this blog design and I think it works. Lorna Li is a MBA grad with a passion for SEO, PPC and SMO as well as for environmental awareness and sustainability with blog posts reflecting both interest areas.
• Apple Pie & Custard - UK based Kelvin Newman, Eloi Casali and Damon Lightley from Site Visibility blog personal and professional insights into SEM, social media and PPC.

After a jam packed week at Search Engine Strategies in San Jose last week, there was still time to discover a few new blogs for the BIGLIST of SEO blogs.

• Kelsey Group Blog - For all things related to local search marketing and online yellow pages, this blog is an excellent resource on industry news and observations from the team at Kelsey Group.
• Amplify Interactive Blog - Ben Lloyd, Christian Bullock and Kristin Wall write about fundamental search marketing tips, SEO, PPC as well as industry events.
• Marketmou SEO Blog - Copywriter and MBA undergraduate Patricia Skinner writes a blog for writers and marketers that want to learn about search engine optimization and online branding strategies.

We have quite a haul of SEO blogs this week and with Search Engine Strategies coming up, search marketing enthusiasts will no doubt be looking for new sources of information on topics of interest as well as conference coverage.

• ClickZ News Blog and ClickZ Experts - The newly designed ClickZ web site continues to offer first class coverage of the search and interactive marketing industry as well as insight from leading industry experts.
• DigiTales Blog - Microsoft’s UK man in the know, Mel Carson blogs for BrandRepublic on all things related to digital marketing. Unfortunately, Brand Republic has decided you must login to see the full posts.
• Marketing Piranha - SEO Analyst & Social Media Marketing Consultant Thomas M. Schmitz has a brand new blog brand having previously blogged at SEO Critique.

• Social Marketing by Michelle MacPhearson - Michelle explores how web 2.0 tools can be used for marketing and documents her findings, such as the hotly anticipated social marketing checklist.
• LinkJuicy - This new blog from Peter DaVanzo of SearchEngineBlog.com fame, promises to deliver all things related to link building and includes a recent interview with Ralph Tegtmeier, aka Fantomaster.
• The Invesp Blog - Khalid Hajsaleh writes about marketing online with a focus on improving conversion rates.

• The Search Insider - Not to be confused with MediaPost’s “Search Insider”, this blog from Wpromote’s Mike Mothner provides insight into pay per click and the business of search marketing.
• Web Usability, Experience and SEO Blog - Tanya Vaughan, SEO Global Program Manager for HP.com does a very nice job of posting about HP’s experiences with search marketing intermingled with industry observations. This is a refreshing “total picture” blog focusing on both traffic driving mechanisms as well as user experience.
• SunTZU SEO Blog - Jeff Hinds blogs about SEO from Kansas City with a great collection of search marketing resources and industry insights on topics ranging from local search to PPC to social media and online reputation management.

Even though we’re doing the “RV vacation” thing starting today, we have a nice list of search marketing blogs for you in this week’s update to the BIGLIST of SEM and SEM and SEO blogs. Enjoy!

• Internet Marketing Monitor - A paid staff of writers at IMM pull internet marketing industry stories of the day as well as case studies and add commentary.
• KoMarketing Associates SEM Blog - A group/company blog covering SEO, PPC, events, industry news/trends, tips and a lot of personal insight. These folks are clearly involved in, and have an opinion on, what goes on in the industry.
• Clix Marketing Blog - PPC Expert David Szetela has lots of speaking gigs. I just wish he’d post more often on industry news and tips on paid search advertising.

OMB brings you yet another fine mix of SEO blogs that made the BIGLIST this week with a nice mix of association content, yellow pages, social media, straight out SEO and in-depth observations about information retrieval. And so without further adieu, here you go. Enjoy!

• SEMpdx Blog - The Portland Search Engine Marketing Professionals group promises to be the voice of the Portland search marketing community and uses the blog to publish association announcements, events, industry participation and observations. This is an excellent example of a Regional SEM Community.
• Search Perspective - tmp directional marketing, the world’s largest Online Search & Yellow Pages Marketing Agency, publishes this group blog focusing on tmp’s “Point of View” as well as SEO, SEM and industry conferences. The blogroll is a bit sparse though.

It’s been a light week of sorts with the July 4th holiday and all, but the TopRank search for new and interesting SEM and SEO blogs never stops.

• Eyefall Search Marketing Blog - A group blog from the team at London based search marketing agency eyefall blogs about SEO, PPC and affiliate marketing.
• The Marketing Excellence Blog - Eric Kintz, Vice President of Global Marketing Strategy & Excellence for HP, offers his observations about CMO issues, corporate blogging, marketing ROI, viral marketing and web 2.0 topics.
• Dosh Dosh - This anime spotted blog written by Maki, a Political Science and Philosophy student in Toronto Canada, is all about making money online and along with that comes posts about professional blogging, affiliate marketing, get-paid-to programs, advertising networks and social media monetization.

I know you’ve been waiting all week to see how there could possibly be more SEO and SEM blogs that haven’t been added to the BIGLIST yet. Please have faith dear reader, for this week we have a nice collection of Logical Gypsy Banditos from Google Webmaster Help Rambling and Pushing us Online.

• PushONline Marketing - Great blog from the UK doing the full social media thing: images, videos, MySpace and some nods to Twitter. Not without a dose of good humor, check out the videos, “Number One on the Google”, or even better, “Bitch Got Wide Feed”. Brilliant.
• Google Webmasters Help FAQ - Alan Doherty, John Honeck, John Mueller, Richard Hearne and Sebastian write this unofficial Google Webmasters Help Forum blog drawing attention to the many, many questions and answers that get posted.

What a week! With most of my time spent at the DM Days conference or sitting in a plane (not flying of course, just sitting on the runway waiting for the stars to line up or whatever control towers are using these days to give the OK for takeoff) I had little time to poke around for new SEM and SEO blogs for our list.

Regardless, we have six additions for this week’s update including two from the UK, two from my home state of Minnesota and one from Massachusetts:

• RKG Blog - Alan Rimm-Kaufman of the Rimm-Kaufman Group blogs about various online marketing news items and tips along with his own commentary.

There are only two blogs to add to this week’s update of the BIGLIST of search engine marketing blogs.

• Search Marketing Expo Blog - Danny Sullivan’s new conference series has a blog with a nice group photo and roundup of conference coverage from the first SMX event in Seattle.
• Cam Balzer’s Web-Cite - Cam Balzer from DoubleClick Performics, a recent Google acquisition, writes about and “cites” topics and items of interest, many related to search marketing and web 2.0.

Recently, Larry Chase tasked me with writing a review of the top search marketing blogs for his newsletter, Web Digest for Marketers. This was a much harder task than I thought. The writing about each SEO or SEM blog was easy. Deciding which blogs to pick was not.

Another fine harvest of search engine marketing blogs this week with some chicks, some Danish and ClearSaleing.

• SEO Chicks - Julie Joyce, Lisa Ditlefsen and Anita Chaperon are women, or as they prefer to be called, “chicks” who know SEO and PPC. They decided after a few beers during a London conference that it was time to get some female attitude into the SEO & SEM blogosphere and here they are with lots of great photos from the recent SMX conference.
• TwentySix2 Marketing Blog - Katy Orell and John Waddy of TewntySix2 have joined the search marketing blogosphere offering a nice mix of tips, tactics and industry commentary.
