Wiley recently announced the launch of a new book, “Online Marketing Heroes: Interviews with 25 Successful Online Marketing Gurus”, in which TopRank has an entire chapter on the subject of social media marketing for SEO and PR.

The list of internet marketing experts interviewed for the book include consultants, agencies, CEOs, PR professionals, client side bloggers and marketers. Topics range from paid search to online copywriting to online PR and social media marketing. The list of marketing experts includes:

According to the Bruce Clay blog, Mike Grehan has joined Bruce Clay as VP of International Business Development. Congrats to both Bruce Clay and Mike as BC gets a very high profile SEO rockstar and Mike gets to continue flying around the world doing that SEO thing.

You may also recall that last week Bill Slawski joined Commerce 360. If you’d asked Bill what he’d be doing now a year ago, working for another company probably wouldn’t be it. However, Bill’s a very smart fellow and Li along with the Commerce 360 team are very fortunate to have him.

I have to say, the Pubcon conference last week was one of the better search marketing conferences I’ve been to. The overriding impression from just about everyone I talked to was that the content was great and the networking even better.

Now we’re heading over to the actual “Pub” part of Pubcon at the Nine Fine Irisishmen bar at the New York, New York casino. Hopefully we’ll get more SEO videos there.

I hadn’t noticed this before, but there’s a slick little video on the main Search Engine Strategies page that expands when you mouseover it featuring shots of the conference, testimonials from several well known SES speakers, a few Incisive people and some commentary from Danny Sullivan along with “cameos” from many other people you see at all the SES shows. The comments that there are no other shows that focus just on search seem a bit over the edge since there is obviously the WebmasterWorld Pubcon conference growing by leaps and bounds.

eComXpo is coming up next week April 4-6 and offers a great lineup of online marketing presentations with keynotes by Bryan Eisenberg, Author of “Call to Action”, Anne Holland Founder of MarketingSherpa and Geoff Ramsey CEO of eMarketer .
