Thankful Wishes From Online Marketing Blog

TopRank Online Marketing on Nov 25th, 2009     Online Marketing

What TopRank Online Marketing Is Thankful ForWith Thanksgiving almost within reach, it’s hard to think of anything but turkey, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes and warm homemade rolls. Actually, for me, my mind is on my aunt’s chocolate pie and my grandmother’s macaroni and cheese.

But regardless of the type of food item occupying your thoughts right now, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what we have to be grateful for. I, for one, realize I have a lot to be grateful for, considering the people I interact with on a daily basis and the work I’m tasked with each day.

With a coat of fresh snow last night it’s looking like the season should (finally) here in Minnesota. The offices are closed today and Friday for Thanksgiving but you know us, there will be at least some checking of emails, voice messages and maybe some IM during that time.

TopRank is very fortunate for the great team of marketing professionals that are helping us to serve our community, clients and continuing the strong company growth that’s happened this year including Michelle, our newest addition to the team who starts on Monday.

The entire M&O – TopRank staff wish all our clients, friends in the industry and readers of Online Marketing Blog a very Happy Holiday!

I hadn’t noticed this earlier, but there’s been a full exodus of Search Engine Watch correspondents over to Search Engine Land. It will be interesting to see what Incisive does to fill that gap.

I had no idea Michael Gray was a fan of cooking (I am too!) and he does a nice rundown of the Thanksgiving feast he prepared yesterday along with photos.

More wisdom from Todd Malicoat comes our way ala Cluetrain Manifesto in the form of “The Stunt Train SEO Marketing Manifesto“.¬† Right on the money Todd!

Pre Thanksgiving Search Links

Lee Odden on Nov 22nd, 2006     Marketing Industry News, Online Marketing

Technorati now offers a link count widget that provides visitors to your blog with a real-time count of how many links you have to a particular post. I read about this on another blog and I cannot remember which one – sorry for not hat tip.
Speaking of widgets, I’ve got a great interview with Lawrence Coburn of Sexy Widget blog coming next week. Lawrence did a presentation last week at the WebmasterWorld Pubcon conference that generated a lot of widget buzz.

Danny does a swell job of slicing and dicing search engine popularity stats across comScore, NetRatings and Hitwise.
