With a coat of fresh snow last night it’s looking like the season should (finally) here in Minnesota. The offices are closed today and Friday for Thanksgiving but you know us, there will be at least some checking of emails, voice messages and maybe some IM during that time.

TopRank is very fortunate for the great team of marketing professionals that are helping us to serve our community, clients and continuing the strong company growth that’s happened this year including Michelle, our newest addition to the team who starts on Monday.

I hadn’t noticed this earlier, but there’s been a full exodus of Search Engine Watch correspondents over to Search Engine Land. It will be interesting to see what Incisive does to fill that gap.

I had no idea Michael Gray was a fan of cooking (I am too!) and he does a nice rundown of the Thanksgiving feast he prepared yesterday along with photos.

Today makes me think of the many, many people who I am very greatful to for sharing insight that has been instrumental to our business sucess, that have made important introductions and referrals or provided opportunities for us to take our biz to the next level. Many of these people probably have no idea what they did that was so helpful, but they did and it is very much appreciated.

Technorati now offers a link count widget that provides visitors to your blog with a real-time count of how many links you have to a particular post. I read about this on another blog and I cannot remember which one - sorry for not hat tip.
Speaking of widgets, I’ve got a great interview with Lawrence Coburn of Sexy Widget blog coming next week. Lawrence did a presentation last week at the WebmasterWorld Pubcon conference that generated a lot of widget buzz.

Danny does a swell job of slicing and dicing search engine popularity stats across comScore, NetRatings and Hitwise.
