According to news reported by MediaPost, Jupitermedia has sold the Search Engine Strategies trade shows and the ClickZ.com Network of Web sites, including SearchEngineWatch.com for $43 million in cash to London-based trade publisher Incisive Media.
“Incisive Media indicated it plans to use the acquisition to expand into the U.S. B-to-B publishing market, and to expand the search engine strategies conferences into other markets.”
Chairman-CEO of Jupitermedia, Alan Meckler will use the proceeds to make more acquisitions of stock photography and digital images companies.
This is pretty amazing. I’ll post updates as I see them.
