9rules Network

I just noticed that Online Marketing Blog was included in the 9rules Network. So far there have been three, 24-hour submission rounds with hundreds of blogs trying to get in, but only a few make it, like Neil and Cameron’s Pronet Advertising Blog. In fact, although I’d met Neil at conferences before, I didn’t discover his blog until I found it on 9rules along with another favorite, Experience Curve.

Inclusion criteria are here, but basically include: passion for the subject, quantity and quality of writing, topics and design.

The benefits of being part of 9rules include the exposure on the site, in the communities and featured sections as well as participation with a private member forum. After looking at this blog’s server log for the past few hours, I can already see some nice traffic benefits.

Congrats, Lee! I was accepted this round, as well. You can probably tell I’ve had your blog in my feedreader (NetVibes) for awhile. I try not to comment too much. 😉

Anyway, keep up the great work. I’m sure the 9rules community is going to learn a great deal from your blog.

what’s that old saying “I wouldn’t want to join any club that would have someone like me as a member” 😉

Good for you though, maybe you can publish some stats in the future showing any changes in traffic.

Thank you Justin, Chad, Chris, Aaron, Mike and Igor!

Hey Mike, Shhh. Before someone from 9rules finds out. 🙂

Actually, I’ve already found several excellent blogs I am not sure I would have found otherwise via 9rules in the few hours I’ve been “in”.

Think StumbleUpon, but a bit more selective and a smaller universe.

You’ve got me pegged as a marketer, that’s for sure, and that means yes I will be posting information about the traffic effects after a few months.

Hey Kyle, I messed up and copied text directly from the 9rules web site. There have actually been five rounds.

    Thanks Joe!
