It was my first Microsoft party last night and it turned out to be a doosy. I went with Rich Ord, Mike McDonald (who won a Zune) and Tiffany Doughty from iEntry (WebProNews). We arrived at about 7-7:30 to see lots of familiar faces. There was a Guitar Hero competition, sushi, glowing drinks, mini hamburgers, a huge outdoor patio and from 55 floors up, the view was amazing. There were bad Billy Idol and Gwen Stephani lookalikes, dancing, a little debauchery and plenty of conversations.
There were indeed a few photos that I could not upload to Flickr. 🙂 However, please enjoy these:
Todd Friesen, Gillian, Rand and Lee
Mel Carson from Microsoft and moi
John Marshall, Heather Lloyd Martin, Joe Morin and Lee Odden
Gah, I should of went. I will be saying that for the next 2 months.
You always know it was a good party when there are pictures that cannot be uploaded to Flickr! That was indeed an excellent party. I was sad that I couldn’t stay longer: Pubcon was both too long and too short at the same time.
Indeed! Good thing it wasn’t longer though or some of us wouldn’t have made it back. 🙂
Great finally meeting you BTW!
Definitely good to finally meet you, too! I did have a rather late night on Thursday… I don’t think I’ve had more fun in a while, though. Still, it’s good to be home!
