Ashley Zeckman     Content Marketing, Online Marketing

One of the biggest problems that many marketing organizations are facing today is creating quality content on a consistent basis. It can be a challenge to make sure every piece of content you produce is effective at helping to attract, engage and convert target customers.

In fact, according to research from Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs, only 38% of B2B marketers state that their content marketing is effective. If you are one of the 62% of marketers that really need to improve content marketing performance, we have just the ticket. Literally!

Our friends at MarketingProfs are hosting a series of workshops focused on helping marketers reach content marketing success. From September 30 through October 2nd, these workshops will be held in Minneapolis.

Get Creative and Win! TopRank Marketing will award one free pass to the workshop of your choice in Minneapolis to whomever leaves the most creative comment on this post about why they should attend.

  1. I just got “downsized” from a content marketing agency. At the age of 60 I have come to the conclusion that I don’t want a boss anymore. Despite having a mortgage and two lovely daughters in college, I am bootstrapping my own agency. I need to think through how I will structure our offerings and I hope these workshops will help me put together a framework for that. And then, of course, I need to market my new agency using a strong content marketing strategy in a cluttered marketplace. That’s kind of meta, but who would hire us to do content marketing if we couldn’t do it well ourselves? Right? Right. Hoping to catch a break with a free pass. If you grant me one, I’ll liveblog to my 7,000 followers on Twitter.

  2. I should get a free pass because I’m a Kerry O’Shea Gorgone and Ann Handley fan girl. Seriously. I’m like a fly to their fruit, a worm to their mud. They both inspire me to be the best that I can be, not just in content marketing and digital media but in life.

    • From one fan girl to another I want to thank you for sharing your submission. 🙂 Be sure to check back for the winner announcement on September 28!

  3. I love a good haiku in the morning. Thanks for sharing Caroline! 🙂

  4. Hi Katie,

It sounds like you have some exciting work ahead of you! Thanks for sharing your submission. Keep your eyes peeled for our winner announcement on September 28. Best of luck!

  5. Why pick me? I’m a content marketer that is looking to be inspired. As an avid fan of Newscred, I know I can benefit from their expertise on making award-winning content. With the right tools, I can make content magic and not only delight but also excite my audience.

  6. Avatar Esther Burgeson says

    62 percent.

    I am the 62 percent.

A single word is a meaningful but lonely fragment.

A pair of words do little to circumvent confusion.

A sentence can considerately suggest, desperately implore or fearlessly declare.

But sentences intentionally joined together are increasingly influential. They create concepts, conversations, speeches, stories. They create content. Content is the ally of humankind that allows us to share, understand, sympathize and inspire.

Against contronyms, hyponyms and heteronyms alike, I am a wordsmith and content champion. I take every opportunity to collaborate, educate and continuously improve my content marketing.

This is my opportunity to continue my pursuit and allegiance to high-quality content among admirable content leaders. This is my opportunity to join the 38 percent—and that is no lonely fragment.

  7. Thank you to everyone that entered to win! A big congratulations to Katie Mann for winning a ticket to The MarketingProfs University Workshop: Finders Keepers.
