    San Jose Convention Center

The TopRank team arrived in San Jose about noon and it was the first time I’ve been on a flight in six months where there wasn’t some sort of delay. Luckily, we scored exit row seats for everyone on the way here, hopefully it will be that way going home as well.

    TopRank SES Bloggers

After getting settled at the Fairmont, THANKS JOE MORIN!, and bumping into Mike McDonald from WebProNews, we headed over to Gordon Biersch for lunch. As usual the outside courtyard was very nice as was the food. Bumped into Mike McDonald from WPN again. Is he stalking us? 🙂

    Dana Larson Thomas McMahon

Next it was work for a few hours. OK, maybe the eyes shut kinda work, you know there’s a whopping 2 hour time difference. 🙂 Then it was over to the Fairmont lobby where lots of SEOs of all flavors were congregating. There were glimpses of Danny Sullivan, Daron Babin, Dave Naylor, Dax Hererra, Brett Tabke, Chris Boggs, Frank Watson, Amanda Watlington, Dave Dalka and many more.

    SES Cabana Party @ Fairmont

While the TopRank bloggers headed over to Gordon Biersch again for a little gathering with Li Evans and many other SEOs, things winded up for me at a little gathering in Joe Morin’s Cabana Suite where Ken Jurina, Rand Fishkin, Rob Kerry (evilgreenmonkey) and several others will chillin. Very nice having a big suite right next to the pool and guess who showed up? Mike McDonald. Actually, I called him this time. 🙂

Am looking forward to some great sessions today, an interview with the kingpin of search at Yahoo and many more short video interviews.

Of course there will be lots of awesome coverage of SES San Jose by many other sources, too many to mention here, except of course the pioneer of covering search engine marketing conferences, Search Engine Roundtable who has something like 10 bloggers covering the sessions.

    Be sure to stay tuned.

Also, we have a new TopRank Online Marketing Blog Flickr Account you may want to watch. I bought new cameras for Dana and Melinda who are TopRank’s official “SES Papparazzi” and we’ll all be uploading images from the conference daily. Here is the set specifically for SES San Jose 2007.
